Hey dreddie27, The shortcode appears to be working and is showing the widget area but there appears to be no widgets in it.
What you need to do is make sure the in the Widgets option screen that you put the widgets into the correct sidebar… you need to put them into the Widgets On Pages sidebar that will have been auto created.
Please let me know how you get on.

I can choose six sidebars: Main-Showcase-Footer1,2,3 and Widgets on pages named “1”.
I have put the widget in sidebar called “1” from widgets on pages.
(its the same as in the main-sidebar, where it functions normally)
Ah right… most strange.
Can you try some different widgets to see if you still have the issue with them?
i did, they also don’t show/work 🙁

@dreddie27, I have set up a running site with those plugin etc and Widgets on Pages seems to be working well? If you want I can take a look at the backend if you don’t mind mailing me a login?

I’ve just set up a test site running 2011 1.3 and 3.3.2 and the Widgets on Pages seems to be working fine. Do you have a live link I can see please?

OK, so looks like an issue with sidebars that are renamed… looking to work out what’s changed in the versions and will hopefully get a fix out.
Seems that the issue might be to do with “named sidebars” which are just called “1” or “2” or some other numeric only value.
@talha6k and @dreddie27 can you please test my theory?

If i change the name to “nr1” it still works.
