    Hello WordPress Community.
I have a problem with my widgets, I can’t click or drag and drop my widgets. Earlier it was possible for me.
Don’t really know what has caused the error. Now I want to know , where are the codes for widgets. I have added a floating wordpress widget and bidvertiser ads widget, now i want them to be longer activated on my site. What codes do I need to change ?
    Any help will be appreciated.

I have disabled all plugins, to check just in case it was anyone of them causing the problems.

    Disabling plugins, that’s a good start. 😉

Along those lines can you also temporarily switch to the Twenty Eleven theme as well? You can switch back afterwards. See if while you are in Twenty Eleven you can move/click/save the widgets.

    Also give this a read.

That theme uses a lot of javascript so you may be having problems with that. You can confirm by enabling the js console in your browser.

These are the things that I have done still the problem persists.

    1. Deactivated all plugins.
    2. Installed twenty twelve.
    3. Checked browser js console. It shows the following code :

Resource interpreted as Script but transferred with MIME type text/plain: “http://clkads.com/adServe/banners/findBanner?num=1&keyword=GoMilitary.in%20-%20All%20you%20ever%20wanted%20to%20know%20about%20Indian%20Defence..&tid=1240577&type=js&ar=b&ts=c&bs=300×250&pid=bidverDispCln&f=true”. `

I discovered that I can’t even make a new post now.
The last thing I remember doing was installing some codes to get fb like box in widgets>text/html
before the widgets and all other things went unclickable.

With all of your plugins and using Twenty Twelve (you did activate the theme right?) can you undo whatever you did to install those codes? I don’t think it’s necessarily causing your problem but undoing changes can’t hurt.

Yes I installed Twenty twelve but reinstalled my previous theme, after it didn’t make the things right for me. But all the plugins are still deactivated.

Actually the problem is that, I don’t know where to find those codes for the widgets. I updated them from widgets, but as they are not clickable, I can’t even change anything in it.

Do you have any idea as to where those codes will be located in wordpress ?
I tried to look for them on default-widgets.php but got no success. It only contains they widgets that are default supported by fresh wordpress install.

I don’t know where to look for the custom widget codes in wordpress.
