All widgets seem not adding its custom classes upon my inspection of HTML codes. The site is currently installed on my local computer so I can’t give a live link.

I have tried different widgets like headline and button to add specific classes but it doesn’t seem to work. Here’s the screenshot I have http://prntscr.com/mu7v7g.

Anyway, we all thankful to SiteOrigin team for providing us a wonderful product. Please keep up the good work. 🙂

    Hi randzgonz02

    Thanks for your support 🙂

The field indicated isn’t added by SiteOrigin. Our widget class field is found in the right column Widget Styles > Attributes tab.

I’m not sure why the field indicated isn’t working. The author that added the field would need to take a look.

If you open the Widget Styles > Attributes tab on the right, you’ll be able to insert a class.

I think you’re right. That bottom classes field seems not needed at all since we can add classes directly in the attributes tab at the right side. It just confuses me as it might be useful in some circumstances like placing its classes in different elements. Though, it seems not a big deal for me at this moment. Thanks anyway! 🙂

For sure 🙂 I don’t know which theme or plugin is adding the bottom field, it isn’t done by SiteOrigin. You’d need to deactivate all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin to check if it’s a plugin adding the field and/or switch themes temporarily to see if the theme is adding it. Assuming you wanted to investigate further.

    All the best.
