Widgets in index page only displays in footer, not in sidebar

    Hi guys,

    I’m using a theme from Woo Themes, called City Guides. I’ve created a post on their support forum but still get no solution. So hope you guys can help me out of this problem. It seems to be so simple.

    Here is my index.php and single.php

    This theme supports widgets in footer and sidebar.

    The problem is when I activate some widgets in the sidebar, at index page they only show in the footer, not the sidebar . But in single page everything is OK. It wasted lots of my times to try fixing , but no solution is found. Hope you guys can help. Thanks alot!

    You would need to edit your theme’s index.php and sidebar.php template files.

    esmi, thank you for your post. Actually I wasted lots of my time on these two files, but I haven’t solved it yet, so I posted the links here , hoping someone can help me . I know the trigger is just in some lines of code but sadly I haven’t found it yet…
