# Widgets Error while Activating

 * I tried to activate sidebar plugin from automattic.com.
 * Downloaded and made a folder widgets in wp-content and uploaded.
 * When i tried to activate it shows the error.
 * `Fatal error: Cannot redeclare register_sidebars() (previously declared in /home/
   itmolaga/public_html/wp-includes/widgets.php:13) in /home/itmolaga/public_html/
   wp-content/plugins/widgets/widgets.php on line 42`
 * Could anyone help me to clear it .

 * Yes i to came to know that the code is already Widgetized.
 * But my widget menu under designs.shows like this,
 * No Sidebars Defined

 * yes, you edit the theme. That plugin doesnt do that.

 * I have to create a new function.php file and insert the code give it.
 * Is that right, or anything to do in it.
