After adding a row or column, I added widgets.
Everything was working fine. But when I clicked on the widget edit(in order to change widget settings, such selecting category of posts) option. It started showing an unknown error.

  • I did it, still not working. I shouldn’t have listened to you and your stupid plugin.

Respectfully, it’s after hours, I’ve offered immediate support for a free plugin in an attempt to quickly resolve your problem. When I first viewed your site, the spinner ran indefinitely, I could see the mixed content issues in the console. Those errors are almost always resolved quickly using Really Simple SSL or a similar plugin. Alternatively here is a similar guide from WPBegginer.

Have you really worked through every step in the suggested tutorial? Have you manually set your WP and Site URL’s in your wp-config.php folder? Have you deactivated all plugins by following the steps in the linked tutorial? If you have, then view this alternative tutorial and skip to the htaccess step, that’s most likely where the issue lies if the above two steps in both tutorials didn’t help.

The site is back again. I deactivated all of them and the reactivated one by one. The issue was caused because of another plugin ‘All in one redirection” which I had already installed.

    Glad you’re back up.

If you want to try to resolve the SiteOrigin error, recreate the issue, view your console, check the errors, if there are mixed content errors, try to resolve those.

The site origin error has also been resolved. I guess you were right. It was because of mixed content.

Glad to hear you’ve made progress.

Also just one more thing. I can use both backend and front end editing on site origin plugin, right?
The Front end editing doesn’t work because my theme doesn’t support live editing I guess.

Theme support isn’t necessary. When viewing the Live Editor, if it fails, open the browser console and see what errors, if any, are there.

Yes it is working. Thank You so very much. You were really a great help.
I am starting to like this plugin. If I like the experience and need more features, I will think about going pro.

No problem. Glad we could help and that you’re making progress. All the best.
