• I’m still trying to figure out why the widgets or the content in the right hand colunm is at the bottom of the page. As suggested I have gone through all the posts and they are within the 545px width in the content area. I also disabled all of the plugins but that did not help either. It was also suggested that I may have posted something from “word” but if I did it was a long time ago. I currently use NVU as my editor but haven’t taken anything out of that lately either. Thanks for looking http://www.realestategotoblog.com

  • Looks fine in Firefox 3 but you do have some validation errors that could with fixing.

    redjag,

I see the problem in Explorer 8 but it appears to be working correctly in Firefox. Try reducing the left margin in the sidebar and setting a fixed width to the content div. IE is very particular about widths and heights.

Or use a conditional comment to serve an additional, corrective, stylesheet to IE:

Hello and thanks for the check-up,
I wouldn’t begin to know where to start with all that. I do see that it looks fine in Firefox 3, I’ve been using Internet explorer and something in the blog is messing that up. How do all these Validation errors crop up? I’m not messing with any html directly. If I delete the older posts I assume that it will correct some of the problems, is this correct? How else would you suggest that I correct the validation issues? http://www.realestategotoblog.com

    Thank you

The worst errors are related to the code/markup you have pasted in the upper 2 text widgets (over 50%). A couple come from the theme markup and the rest aren’t such a problem. None appear to be within posts as far as I can tell.

How else would you suggest that I correct the validation issues?

Take down the first 2 widgets and see if that helps.
