    is there a way i could add more widget area to the side bar? also i could
   not work the menu function, is there a way i can have dropdown menu on p2?

 * Yes you can all you need to is drag the widgets that are on left big box to right
   where you want that widget.
    You can always search for some other widgets and
   install them as plugins.

 * You need to check if your your theme supports custom menu by clicking on Appearance—

 * It can be done I will have to see the code and see if it can be done so that 
   you have custom menus feature.
 * I will install the theme see what it will take to make it support custom menu
   and will let you know.

 * thank you! also if you can add support for mulitple widget on the sidebar, by
   that i mean multiple section. right now all the widgets goes in to one sidbar
   box, i want them separated.

 * I have installed P2 and I see that it is for short communication theme where 
   members can posts similar
    Google Wave ok simplest way to have menu will be in
   sidebar and use Custom menu widget.
 * To put menu like other themes there will be coding involved as deos not have 
   style css for any menu and does not have any code for menu in header.php
