# Widgetizing Theme—Help

 * I would like to Widgetizing Themes my theme. I don’t very much at all about php
   and not sure where to begin. I read an article about it but it didn’t seem clear
   what to change.

 * I don’t have a functions.php in my themes directory?
 * Any help?

 * open notebook, put in the code you need, save the page as functions.php, make
   sure to save as “all files” not “text file” upload to your template file
