Widget won't save/spinning circle

    I love the look of this widget it but it won’t save. As soon as I add it to my sidebar the grey Save circle is spinning (even before clicking Save), and never stops spinning. It won’t stay in my sidebar as a result.

    I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the plug-in. I’ve also upgraded my theme.

    I haven’t had this issue with any other plug-ins, everything else is working beautifully.

    I have the same problem. This widget is exactyly what I need.
    Widget worked well half a year ago, but now after WordPress 4.5.2 and my theme updated it can’t save anything.

    Hi , i had the same issue…through trial and error (disabling all plugins and reactivating them one by one) i found that Wordfence Security plugin was the issue.

    Turn off Wordfence Security, do what you need at Recent Posts Widget Extended, save changes, and turn on Wordfence. This is how to avoid problem. But we’re waiting for real solution.

    I don’t have Wordfence security and I’m having a problem with the options not saving. I’ve turned off all non-essential plugins. I have Studiopress Genesis which has a dozen plugins I don’t want to turn off even for a few minutes. Weird.
