# Widget Vanishing

 * I can see in the source code that the widget is disappearing due to a timeout
   on the data source’s api gateway. Is this due to using a free api account on 
   OpenWeatherMap? If yes, I would imagine this problem will only get worse as others
   continue to download and use your (awesome) widget.
 * Would it be possible to require us end users to get our own api key and plug 
   it into the plugin settings to overcome this issue?

 * Just checked the [http://openweathermap.org](http://openweathermap.org) and they
   are having issues today.
 * I look at adding the API key piece to the free version. I have it in the PRO 
   version currently.

 * Thanks Hal! This is a really great plugin; I’ve been looking for something like
   it for a long time. Will check out the pro version.
