Widget showing up on Events pages

  • Hi,

    I’m having a problem with a general sidebar widget showing up on my Event pages (I’m using The Event Calendar plugin). You can see it here:

    I have been trying to use Widget Logic with the conditional tag:
    !is_tax( 'tribe_events_cat' )

    and a lot of other tags I could think of, but none of them have worked. I’m sure there’s a simple solution here. I just need to exclude the widgets from displaying on any Event page (The main Events page has a URL /syndmus , and has a page ID 53 ). Can anyone tell me what conditional tag I should use for this?

    Cheers,
    Jaan

    @alanft

    !is_page(53) would do it, BUT see the Widget Logic FAQ about issues when using is_page
