Widget Page Freezes

    Hi Guys, I bought the pro version a while ago but don’t know where to get support. I don’t have a subscription anymore at wpmudev.

    Since few days I have a problem and don’t know what it is. My widget page keep’s on freezing and doesn’t load or loads really slow. It does load after a while but the sidebar backup and export link is not there..

    Maybe I have too many widgets or something?

    I uninstalled all my plugin’s but it didn’t help.

    Do you maybe have an answer or something? Or should I contact the theme developer?

    Hello @ellis2611,

    If you change theme to default WordPress one (like twenty seventeen) is the issue gone?
    Which plugin version do you have installed?

    Please open browser console and check if there are any errors on widget page https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/console/

    Hi Kasia thank you for helping me out! I have the latest version installed. I think it is theme related as I activated the twenty seven had it did load in a sec. I was able to delete lots of sidebars, by uninstalling the custom sidebars plugin. After that, I activated the plugin again, and my sidebars still did load slow but were able to get back in. In browser console, I don’t see any errors. I will let the theme developer know about this.

    Hey @ellis2611,

    Like you said, if turning to default theme solves the problem you should talk with theme developer. If your theme developer found any bug about the plugin that cause this issue please don’t hesitate to contact again with us.
