Thank you! * Plugin Author [feedsapi](https://wordpress.org/support/users/feedsapi/) * (@feedsapi) * [11 years, 1 month ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/widget-option-2/#post-6016556) * If your articles only come in with title and excerpt, then the plugin ddoesn’t even see the image, since they are not delivered with the post, so you have two options: * 1- Make sure the posts coming in have the full post content with images inside. * 2- Upgrade to the premium version to do this and if you only need the truncated excerpt with featured image, the premium version comes with an option to truncate the post, you can even decide how many words you’dyou’d like it to have. Without the key no featured image is displayed even if that is present in the excerpt. As this is the case in my situation. * Your plugin is well built I do not have a complaint about it;) The upgrade has many other options which I do not need and for this reason the key is too expensive for a small site.
