Hi there,
I’m sorry, but I’m not following.
What do you mean by “the same installation that MultilingualPress is in”?
MultilingualPress requires a WordPress multisite installation, and it can only be activated network-wide.
Widgets are managed on a per-site basis, so you have to set it up on every site individually.
Depending on the language, it might be that the widget title is translated (e.g., German, or French). If you absolutely can’t find it, does the site have a language assigned, and do you have site relationships set up?
Cheers,
Thorsten

Sorry, I am using Visual Composer for this site. I noted that the are to post the translations are all in the main site that I installed the plugin to (I didn’t notice it under the main page options) and I did the translations for the posts in Visual Composer where the other site was installed under their individual dashboards.
Now that I see how it works, it seems that the plugin does not support Visual Composer, or am I missing something?
Thanks again!
Hi,
yes, unfortunately, MultilingualPress doesn’t really work (well) with Visual Composer. MultilingualPress needs the content to be managed in a regular TinyMCE editor.
If you want you can deactivate the Advanced translator (on the network settings page, Settings -> MultilingualPress), and then only use the Translation meta box to manage the relationships between the posts. Editing the content has to happen on the individual sites then.
Cheers,
Thorsten
