Alright, the prize goes to the first person who can figure out why my two text widgets are handling my CSS differently. Check out http://www.sweet-foundations.com. The one on the right appears to have a larger margin or padding but it seems like the css shouldn’t do that. Any ideas?

  • It’s almost an optical illusion caused by the fact that the image in the left-hand widget is 10 pixels larger. In reality, the LH widget is only 2px wider then the RH one.

Thanks for the reply! Why are the images rendering differently? The base image sizes are exactly the same and I haven’t added any styling to either image. Also, if you look at the padding between the text on the sides and bottom the right has quite a bit more.

Why are the images rendering differently?

They’re not. The CSS-applied margins (padding) are exactly 5px.
