# Widget Fails Validation

 * I really like this plugin – very simple, does exactly what I want. EXCEPT…there’s
   an HTML validation problem.
 * The line that’s causing the widget to not pass validation is as follows:
 * `<img src="http://mysite.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/image1.jpg" data-image-
   link="http://mysite.org/faq/" class="pointer_cursor" />`
 * The validator says this: “An img element must have an alt attribute, except under
   certain conditions. For details, consult guidance on providing text alternatives
   for images.”
 * I have specified alternative text in the media library for each of the 3 images
   I put into the rotator, but the plugin is not coded to include alt text.
 * Validation is an important component of my websites. Please help, thanks!
