Support » Fixing WordPress » Widget does not stay in Available Widgets menu after first

  • I am trying to add a (plug-in) widget to multiple sidebars. After the widget appears on the first sidebar, it gets removed from the Available Widgets menu. I need it to work like WordPress built in widgets, where I can drag the same widget and use it multiple times. This plugin must be missing a certain line of code. Does anyone know what I need to add in order for it to remain in the Available section after first instance? The specific Plugin I’m having trouble with is “Sub Pages Widget.” I’ve tried to use other options out there, but they all cause problems with Tertiary pages listed. Tried the code just embedded into my php file, but again, having trouble getting the ancestor title to appear correctly when viewing child pages.
