I have just installed the twitter tools plugin for WordPress and it worked pretty well. The only problem I came across is that the “edit” label in the widget control does not show as the title of the widget is too long. That automatically means that I cannot remove the widget from the sidebar. Unless I deactivate the pluging. In the old version you could remove any widget by dragging them back to the bottom. Unfortunately that doen’t work in 2.5.

    Turn off Javascript

    or

Open the widget management page in another browser

    or

Find the widget’s codename (in the plugin’s source code) and visit http://www.example.com/wp-admin/widgets.php?edit=widget-codename&key=2

If this helps, drop by my profile page sometime.

Opening in the new browser worked for me. I had been working in both firefox and seamonkey, but it seemed to work in IE. Go figure.

Heh. Actually, the fact the title was too long clued me to just resize my browser’s text. Sure enough, the “edit” link appear after resizing down a notch. Thanks!
