In the latest WordPress update, the Block Editor is used on the Widget screen. The class field does not even show up in the editor now. Please fix!

    Hi @justinhollender

This plugin only supports the classic widget editor, not the block editor interface.
Also, since blocks natively support custom classes, I’m unsure whether this plugin should add on that feature..

    Cheers, Jory

This feature may still be worth adding to the new widget block editor @keraweb.

Some blocks, such as the ‘custom HTML’ block do not have native support for custom classes. Additionally, in those blocks that do support it, the custom class is not output at the highest level element.

Thanks for your hard work maintaining this plugin. 👍

+1 for bringing custom classes to the ‘custom HTML’ widget in the block editor 🙂

    … and IDs to p-Block
… and to the shortcode block …
    … …

    😀

    +1 for the shortcode block
