 * you can removed that using css styling and adding it to your theme style.css;
   try to inspect the html elements using chrome or firebug and/or see WP Appearance
   > Widgets > Events widget > List item format

 * currently there’s no way to prevent this from being a list
 * what you can do is use a plugin like

 * and then use our shortcodes instead, which can be any format you’d like
