    Hey there,

today I wanted to change the content of one sidebar widget on http://www.theater-das-zimmer.de and realized that no widget areas show up when I open Design=>Widgets. I also tried to access the Live-Preview mode, however this only leads me to a strange white screen echoing something related to Google Analytics Stats. Any clue what the reason might be and how to fix it? A search in the www and in the forum here didn’t help.

    Thanks and best regards
    Anders

  • Out of curiosity, in spite of the fact that you do not see widgets listed on the left side of the screen, do you see any widgets in the widget locations such as footer widget areas, topbar, sidebar, etc.?

I have/had this same issue. I find that If I deactivate the Google Analytics plugin in I can access the widgets area. I just deactivate it, do what I need to do with the widgets, then activate it again.

The widgets are correctly displayed, the issue’s just affecting the backend. It is caused by a plugin relating to Google Analytics, just like @sarawatsonim suggested. When I deactivate it, all widget areas are displayed correctly in the backend.

    Thanks @sarawatsonim !
