If you create a sidebar-shop.php file in your theme, that sidebar template will be loaded on your shop pages only. So then just create a new widget region for your shop pages and call it in that template using dynamic_sidebar().

why doesn’t widget areas plug in now work. I had all this functioning up until putting a product into a category

    Hi James

Just to clarify I am using Woosidebars – the latest release.

I have successfully configured them to work with Blogs etc in our site.

We had it working quite all right on our site for products that weren’t assigned to a category, but when i then linked products to a category the feature stopped working. e.g http://www.surfs-sup.co.uk/index.php/shop/stand-up-paddleboards/bombora-jimmy-lewis-sup-2/
