    Start by:

    – deactivating all plugins (especially the right-click disable plugin) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Have you edited the theme in any way?

Hi – thanks – yeah I did a couple of edits.. one was to get rid of the square dots in the widget links, I can’t remember what else I did tbh… there may be a couple of stray bits of code lurking somewhere though…

Re-upload a fresh copy of Twenty Eleven using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
