 * hi tom,
    happy new year! i’m still loving my GP theme altho having a problem.
 * is it me, or has the widget appearance option button disappeared/been removed?
 * i liked the feature of being able determine appearance logic of which pages i
   wanted my widgets to show on (using a GUI) and am hoping it’s not a bug on my
   site that has caused its removal.
 * i did google and search support threads but didn’t see anything helpful. apologies
   if i missed something.

 * interesting that i had the optional functionality previously, having never used
   any plugins.
 * i’ll work on the conditional logic myself and circle back if there are any problems(
   which i always try resolving myself before posting in forums—-though not always
   w success :\ ).

 * good morning Leo,
    lo and behold! it was Jetpack all along… i assumed it was 
   GP functionality and when i temp disabled Jetpack… sidebars went kaput! reactivating
   made all well again. you helped a lot… many thanks, cheers!
