 * This is a fantastic Plugin, It absolutly hits the nail on the head for what I
   have been looking for for years – one question though. I would like to put a 
   widget on the homepage with a random player, with the player pic and a few detail,
   is this possible with an HTML widget and a shortcode?

 * Hi oderuyter,
    As you’ve discovered, shortocdes don’t work in sidebars (text 
   widgets) by default. But there’s a simple change you can add to your theme’s 
   functions.php to enable them. [See this article](http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/wordpress/313-use-shortcodes-within-text-widgit)
   for example. There are also some plugins that will do this for you. I’d edit 
   the functions file myself. It’s only a couple of lines.
