 * When using the widget in the sidebar and the shortcake ‘Monthly View’ – I would
   like to remove the two fields in the top showing Category and the search field?
   I would like it only to show the calendar.

 * Unfortunately this is not the customization possibility I’m looking for.
 * If I understand correctly and as I can see when I change something related to
   the single event sidebar, I change the page where you have your Single Event –
   and NOT the calendar I have in the sidebar on the frontpage.
 * When using the calendar in the sidebar on the frontpage I go into ‘Appearance’,‘
   Widgets’ and drag the one called ‘Calendar’ to my Home Sidebar 1. The only thing
   I can do here is to name a title and pick a short code (either ‘Monthly View’,‘
   Upcoming events (List)’ and ‘Upcoming events (Grid)’). I have chosen the monthly
   view – and it also shows a calendar in the sidebar on the frontpage BUT also 
   a search field and a categorypicker – and I would like to remove these last two.

 * Please go to **M.E. Calendar > Shortcodes** and open the shortcode, you can edit
   Search Form and disable category field and etc.

 * You can disable category by selecting it in the dropdown menu.
