  • First you will need to create a child theme. Then you will need to start adding customised CSS to your child’s stylesheet. Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.

I’m using a builder theme, and it has an area to change the width of our site. However, no matter what I do, it will not change the size.

It’s not just this theme, however. I have tried 5 different WordPress themes, found on the wordpress site which say they have flexible widths. And, again, it stays the same size no matter what I do.

Could someone please let me know how to fix this?

@kroig1018: It is impolite to interrupt another poster’s ongoing thread with a question of your own and it causes significant problems for the forum’s volunteers. Please post your own topic.

I’m very sorry. I’ve only posted one other time in the last 2 years, and I thought I was posting in the right place.

Speaking of rudeness, check your own tone, I am surely much older than you, and I do not appreciate being spoken to like a child.

Then I suggest you try reading the Forum_Welcome before posting any further.
