Support » Plugin: WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher » Why YouTube RSS items have tags in fetched title?

About 1 out of 5 times when running Youtube rss campaign the title of the youtube video is imported to wordpress with <div>Video title is here</div> tags. Most of the time the plugin imports the title just fine.

Also would be nice if it were more intuitive how to keep redundant featured image showing above the embedded youtube video. Most users will want a featured image or an image attached to the blog post so they can use the image in blog lists/grids on category pages, but probably don’t want the redundant image in the single post.

    Hi max,

1.- This depends on the video’s title, however the PRO version includes a feature to remove HTML content from the post titles.

2.- YouTube Fetcher includes a “preview” feature to shows how the posts fetched from YouTube will look before that are created.

You have the possibility to choose which elements of the YouTube feeds will be included in the post, the image, the featured image or the description, the preview section in the metabox will show you in real time.

You can mark the selection options to see the possible results of the Post Template.

    Regards,
    Manuel
