Why would a comment not show on the main page?

    Why would a comment in a post not show on the main page?
    On the main page of http://atp.datagate.net.uk/blog/
    in ndex medical gloves it says no comments but there is two test comments in the thread,

    What files might I need to replace? This happened after a failed backup and restore.
    Any ideas

    1. Can you see the comments in the admin, under Manage > Comments?
    2. Maybe the backup is from a point of time before the comments were made.
    3. Do you have any caching mechanism active?

    2. Yes it is, but it was restored (and upgrade.php ran) before the comments where made.
    3. I dont know. I didnt add anything to my version for that.

    OK, last question: is moderation on? Maybe they are in the moderation queue?

    No the moderation queue is empthy. Plus they show once you click on comments.

    Would this be an error in the file that checks for comment?
