• I made a pinterest-friendly image on my blog (a vertical collage of pictures), and I want it to show up as an option when someone clicks on the Pinterest pinner, but only the other images in my post show up.

I’ve added the Pinterest Widgets plugin, so people can just click on the “save” button that shows up when they hover over the image, and that works just fine. But I personally use the official Pinterest Pinner instead of those buttons, so I’m sure others do the same.

I tried setting the desired image as my featured image, and then it showed up for the Pinterest Pinner, but then it also added a cut-off version of the image to the top of my post, and it looked horrible, so I removed that.

What can I do? Does it have to do with the file size of the image? They are all jpegs. I don’t understand what it is about that image that the Pinterest Pinner doesn’t recognize.

    Here’s the post.

Heads up, I barely understand how to run my blog, so you might need to explain things as if I’m a toddler. 🙂

    Hi there!

    What plugin are you using?

Hi Jose- the plugin is called Pinterest Widget, but I don’t think the plugin is the problem because it was happening before I installed the plugin.

Try deactivating all but the Pinterest Widget plugin.

If it works, it means another plugin is causing a conflict.

Thanks! I didn’t try that because I just made another post, and it worked fine in that post, and has worked fine going forward. So..I don’t know, there must have been something different about that specific image in that post. Oh well..:/
