Why was my post [Closed]?

    Hello,

    My post in the How To and Troubleshooting section got closed soon after I posted it. Obviously it didn’t belong there, my question is why? I pointed to a previous post that wasn’t resolved and reworded the issue. Was that it?

    Because its a dupe — for future reference, what you probably should have done was simply added on to the original post. Duplicate posts are a no-no here — the forums are cluttered enough without them.
