[Resolved] Why the forcing of the blue background?

    I like to use a light yellow background for my private replies, but in your plugin’s CSS you have

    .topic .bbp-private-reply {
    background: #78C0EC!important;
    }

    I’m curious as to why, and wondering if you could take out the important flag so that I can more easily style my own background without having to edit the plugin style file everytime I upgrade.

    We should definitely take out !important. I don’t recall exactly why we put that in. As long as you include an ID in your CSS, it should overwrite.

    Ah. I didn’t know that ID’s took precedence over classes, thanks!

    Yep! We do exactly that on EasyDigitalDownloads.com
