Hi I was just wondering why the Postal Code field shows up in the card details section? I understand that it is for the AVS check if that is enabled in Braintree, but can’t we just use the Billing info post code entered earlier in the checkout? I think that’s how it’s traditionally done and you enter the billing info for the card you’re using so it seems superfluous to have the post code field again.

    Hello @danceyrselfclean_admin,

The postal code on the credit card form is provided as a convenience because every merchant has a different idea of how their checkout page should look. If you disable the credit card form’s postal code, then the billing postal code is used instead for AVS checks.

You can disable the postal code field on the Checkout Settings page of the plugin.

    Thanks,

Thanks for the reply that’s useful to know that it uses the billing post code instead if disabled.
