Why same theme (twenty eleven) looks more trendy in wordpress.com ?

    Hi Friends,

    Can any1 advice me why same theme (twenty eleven) looks more elegant than the wordpress.org.?

    The difference lies in the content area where we write our content in the post/page.

    How to customise it like wordpress.org?

    The versions of many themes between .org and .com are not always the same — for any number of reasons. Is your site on .com or self-hosted? If self-hosted, you can do whatever modifications you want… If on .com, you’re more limited and you need to post in the forums for WP.COM (not here).

    How to reduce the content area (I mean where we write post/page)like the one is hosted at .com?

    You’d need to post a link to your site and be more specific about what you want changed. Generally, appearance and layout is done in the CSS code.

    Okay, no problem. You might try using Firebug (Firefox addon) — which is invaluable in working with CSS.
