# why does WP auto-complete the a-tag?

 * If I write a post or a page containitg:
    `<a href="#something"> bla </a>`
 * WP autocompletes it with
    `<a href="http://www.thewholedamnpath.com/?page_id=
   291#something">bla</a>`
 * I sincerely don’t need this feature,
    so, what is the way to bypass it?
