Why no categories for pages?

  • I would really like to be able to add categories to my pages… and to see those categories on the page management page (like they appear on the post management page).

Strangely, the preview at the bottom of the page edit form is labeled “Post Preview”, and under the page title, it says “Filed under: General” (General is my default category). What’s that about?

  • You could create sub-pages and treat those as your “Pages” and have the Pages be your “categories”, ie Page–>”Cars”, sub-pages “VW”,”BMW”, etc.

miklb, thanks, good idea. I may try that.

Still not sure why categories show up in the page preview — I guess it must be reused code from the post preview.
