why my users can’t receive account activation email when signing up?

    Hello Ultimate Member support groups,

    Thank you for bring this plugin up and it really make it easier to create a membership website.

    And my problem is in the topic title(my users can’t receive account activation email when signing up).

    I’ve checked settings>Email>Account Activation Email √. Also User roles>customer>registration options>Registration Status>require email activation
    >Login user after validating the activation link? > √

    Still, can’t work that out. my clients complaint that they don’t get activation link in their mailbox.

    But interestingly, if i edit the user’s profile, click “Resend Activation Email”, this really works…

    So what can I do to make users get that activation email automatically and immediately when they sign up?

    and other auto-mail like password reset email, account deleted email and account change notification all work fine… pretty strange ….

    Please try installing and setting up an SMTP plugin to fix the relay issue. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

    Thanks for your advice.
    And could you clear up my confusion why my other auto-mail functions work properly? it’s just this activation email strangely went wrong….

    Does that mean the web server have nothing wrong or not? Or something wrong with my setting or hosting? Do I have to use those third-party plugins to settle the issue? someone told me that i should be cautious about some of the third party plugins….

    Sorry for the late response.

    The issue may be with the email relay with the HTML content of UM email templates and to fix this issue, you will need an SMTP plugin.
