 * There are so many new threads started in this forum and moderators close these
threads even if there is no solutions to OP. What’s the point for that?

 * Yes read that Forum Welcome, but still can’t understand why moderators close
the topics. All the time posts closed and no chance from developer even to reply,
   example this one [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-custom-post-types-1?replies=14](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-custom-post-types-1?replies=14)
 * Moderator says: “If you require assistance then, as per the Forum Welcome, please
   post your own topic.”
I have exactly the same problem and I have to make double
thread exactly about the same issue?

 * Search First
Many of the questions that are posted in the forums have been posted
many times before, and get the same answers each time. Before starting a new
thread, please try searching the forums for an answer…..

 * That’s a good thing, that improves their findability.

 * What would be the alternative, posting in the same thread that you have the same
issue? No point in that. If the issue truly is the same then all you have to
do is follow the support given in that thread.
 * A lot of the time people presume they have the same issue, when really they’ve
identified they have the same symptom. Experienced forum users know that when
people’s symptoms are unravelled they are not normally the same issue.

 * The thought would be nice. That if all support for each issue was contained within
1 thread and everyone could get the same solution from the same thread. But really
those threads get crazy even if all comments are on-topic and helpful. I find
longer threads more difficult to follow than shorter.
 * – I’m not concluding that threads should be closed if they get too long –

 * The post you references was old and was specific to an absolutely ancient copy
of WordPress (3.1.1 to be exact). Are you using WordPress 3.1.1 on the same physical
server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations
as the original poster? No? Then please do not post in someone else’s thread.
