why loading all author on new post ?

    when on .. /wp-admin/post-new.php
    make viewsource (ctrl+u) then search (ctrl+f) : ‘post_author_override’.

    why it show all the author/user/member
    exp. http://img7.us/?di=2PMK ,
    even when im not login as administrator?

    i got more 500+ member, when im in low-connection,
    could it make slow-loading (sometime freeze) the new-post page?

    I have over 600 members and it doesn’t do anything for my site. The override is there so you can … change the author of a post.

    It ONLY lists the people who are possible AUTHORS. So not members, just people who could write posts. Does every one of your 500 members need to be authors? If not, change their permissions 🙂

    If so… well. There you are then.

    ups sorry 🙂 yes i know that.
    my member mostly CONTRIBUTOR 🙂
    i think they cant change the author of a post ,
    so why those author loaded ?
