Why isn’t this built into WordPress?

This plugin is fantastic. I’ve been using the free version on several sites for a few years and found it invaluable for organizing media files.

I’ve recently upgrade to the paid version, and that’s even better: no ten-folder limit, the folders can be any colour, and ability to view metadata when hovering on images. Game changer! On larger sites, I like to sort posts and pages as well.

One final note: the tech support is excellent. I was having some trouble with another issue and when I disabled all the plugins, wrote “I was having difficulty” when Folders asked why I was uninstalling it. Gal actually emailed to inquire what the difficulty was! I’ve never had that happen before. They later wrote again to make sure it was working for me.

Totally worth the money.
