    This plugin was closed on December 24, 2018 and is no longer available for download.

    Now we dont have ability to download free version. Are you working on the solutions?

    In the meanwhile can you please link the free version download on your website. As we can not download it from WordPress official repository.
    Your website is currently linking to wordpress.

  • Yes, I was wondering this too, following a notification from WordFence.
    I wish that WP and/or the plugin authors would state a reason when a plugin gets removed. 🙂

    Most probably because plugins is tweaking with WordPress core functionalities, ie stop automatic WordPress updates.
    But I dont think it can be considered as suspicious. now that wordpress is making big changes everyday and giving developers hard time to keep up with the changes, one can not simply update everything when WordPress wants them to.

    Thanks for this plugin which was doing a great job for me so far!
    Will it continue to work and self update even if closed on WordPress.org?

    Is this closure permanent? Its a very useful plugin

    I just emailed WordFence support to see if they know what’s going on with this plugin. I thought I remember some time ago that the Updraft folks bought it, so maybe this is part of their process of making a premium version available. Here’s the site where both the free and and premium versions are available.

    And the website sure looks like the Updraft website.

    We’re not sure yet why the plugin was removed. Will keep you updated as soon as we find out more.

    Thanks @ronalfy

    @oakhillman Thanks for the tip. I know about the home page of this plugin, but the home page is linking back to wordpress plugin page, and you know we can not download from there.

    @ronalfy

    can you please make change on your website (https://easyupdatesmanager.com)? and let us download directly from your website? instead of linking to the wordpress plugin page. We can not download from there.

    Thanks.

    There’s not much I can do except wait as the Updraft team is on holiday and I don’t have the authority to put the free version up as a download. We’ll have to wait until the plugin team gives us feedback on why the plugin was removed.
