why is this plugin installing itself?

    How come the plugin installs itself? It happened today on the 2nd website that this plugin installs without my intervention.

    Hey @sophieja23,

    Are you using Neve and Templates Patterns Cloud? Or are you using Lightstart plugin?

    If yes, then when you import a template from either of them it will alert you that Otter plugin will be installed on your website when you import a template as Otter is used for all the UI.

    Let me know if that’s the case or you aren’t using any of these plugins/themes?

    Hi, yes I am using lightstart but I never tried to use a template. However, good to know that nothing is wrong with my site.

    Yes, it must be installed using Lightstart, as you get the option to activate Otter there.
