Why is this image using this permalink?

I uploaded an image to the media library called naturopath-toronto.jpg, and now when I go to http://www.12health.com/naturopath-toronto/ it goes to that image. The problem is that I want to use that url for a page on my site, but when I create the page, the slug defaults to naturopath-toronto-2. Strange behaviour, no?

So my question is, how do I make it so that uploaded images don’t steal the permalinks I want to use for my pages? (Note: I don’t want to rename the image).

Any ideas?
