I got a message from wordpress.org that there is a critical issue with the lite version on September 27th 2025, what is being done about that?

Yes, I am seeing a new critical vulnerability being reported in Wordfence scans for Current Plugin Version: 1.16.16. I hope that the plugin author addresses the issue soon.
