  • Hi anyates25,

I think you can solve the issue in this way:

In admin panel go to Editor then open Footer.

At about the end of the codes, look for the word “English” between <?php wp_footer(); ?> and </body>

If you find it there, just delete the word and click “Update File”. Then test the front end.

    Hope that helps !!

First try deactivating all plugins to see if that removes it first. Then try switching to a different theme if it doesn’t.

There is no word English in footer file.

I deactivated newly installed plugins and checked front end after each one. Still there.

Any other suggestions. Also, no clue how to change themes and wouldn’t want to.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

Golly, seems intensive, all of that for one little word.

I did deactivate all plugins. Caused a fatal error.

What exactly is the error message?
