    Hi!

    Thanks for a great plugin!

Looking at a “Scan Summary” in the free version of Wordfence I find the following:

“Comparing plugins against WordPress.org originals Ignored.”
    and
“Scanning file contents for infections and vulnerabilities Ignored.”

Why ignored? Is there a setting I’m missing?

    Best regards,
    /Nils

  • Hi @nilsostergren,

We implemented a fix in the latest version (6.3.10) so the “Scan summary” box will say “Ignored” for previously ignored issues instead of saying “Problems found” as it used to.

In your case, I believe a previous scan reported issues (related to the scan features you mentioned) which you chose to ignore.

The following scan(s) picked up those same issues but also saw that they had been previously ignored, hence the “Ignored” tag.

Thanks for the info! “Problems found” was confusing, but is “Ignored” really an improvement? Hard to interpret “Ignored” as something else than that scanning was ignored.

I agree, it’s confusing. Should say “Only previously Ignored found” or something, now it seems like it is turned off!

    +1, it’s confusing…
I’ve been searching for 10 minutes this morning because I thought there was a problem…

    Regards

    same here

    cheers,
    Cris
