Display Widgets
why is my post in middle of page? (6 posts)

I've installed the Display Widgets plugin on my posts page, but it makes my post move down the page to the middle of the page:

    What could be the issue?

    Thank you!

What happens if you remove the DadBloggers widget?

    Thanks for the response.
If I remove the Dad Bloggers widget, the post still appears under the subscribe widget.
It seems that anything placed on the side knocks the post under it.

I don't think the plugin is to blame as it only acts as a filter and does not add style or reposition anything.

I think your theme needs some work. Here's a portion of a screenshot showing the sidebar (green border) and the primary content div (red border). You can see the primary div is wider than the space remaining after the sidebar is rendered so it is forced below.

[Removed an incorrect comment about a width setting.]

Thanks. Excuse my ignorance, but where would I find the div tag for the primary content? Would it be in the css?
    Thanks again.

You're welcome. You'll find that in the css for TwentyEleven and your child theme, specifically any single page rules since this is a single post.
