This link should take you to a category page, but instead links to an old blog post with a completely different slug. Does anyone know why this is happening?

  • Hello,

When I go to the page and look at what is happening in Chrome’s Web Inspector, I see that it is being redirected and receiving a response header:

    x-redirect-by: redirection

Do you have the Redirection plugin installed by any chance? I wonder if there might be a rule in there that might be causing this?

Thank you for your response! We do have this plugin activated, but I’m unsure how to check if I have a “rule” in effect. Could you let me know how to check?

What I would do is turn on logging in Redirection under Tools > Redirection > Options. Then, go to the page and check the Log in Redirection after. That should give you an idea if the redirect is happening within the plugin.

You were right, there was a rule created in redirection, which I’ve deleted. The page is working now, woohoo! Thank you so much for your help!
