I searched for term “Archive” at https://www.thosecrazyvegans.net/forum/ but could NOT find it. Perhaps I don’t understand your question.
If you look at the browser tab, it says “Forum Archive – Those Crazy Vegans”. That’s what he’s referring to. He wants to know how to change that label in the browser tab.
I’m wondering if that’s a setting in your forums, how it gets labelled. Is that a plug-in or a feature of your theme?
I did a quick look and found a plug-in that can change the titles of archives. Perhaps this is something that might help… https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-archive-titles/
Although, your forum is a custom post type, so it might not be automatically supported by this one.
Yes the browser tab says forum archive. Why and how to remove it to just say Forum without a plugin? I’ve noticed that many other forums around the internet also say forum archive in the tab when going to their site. thanks 🙂
Does your forum settings have a label in it? I’m wondering if there is a setting there to give it a different name? It would be something the forum creators might have added in there to do that.
It’s not a built-in function in WordPress to easily change the titles.
I did another search and found this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/archive-control/ This one seems to have the ability to change the title on custom post types, which is what your forum would be. The change you’re looking for would either need to be made with a custom function, or by using someone else’s solution via a plug-in. That’s what I’m seeing here from my perspective.
